REPORTING & ANCHORING

I am experienced in anchoring and reporting.  I also have spent many years shooting, writing and editing my own stories. I cover stories across all platforms, tweeting from the field and sending video from my phone in breaking news situations.  Using Twitter and Facebook/FB Lives to connect with viewers, I keep them informed and up-to-date on stories as they unfold throughout the day.

I currently work at WTHR in Indianapolis.  I anchor Weekend Sunrise and created an original franchise called "A Ray of Sunshine."  It's dedicated to featuring super positive people in Central Indiana.  During the week, I work on enterprise content and appear on Sunrise as a reporter and fill-in anchor.  I also anchor Eyewitness News at Noon.  Before I moved to Indianapolis, I worked in my hometown of Pittsburgh as a Freelance Reporter.  Prior to that I worked in Cleveland and in Little Rock as a Multi-Media Journalist for WKYC and THV 11.  I started my news career in Winchester, VA.  I served as co-anchor and co-producer of TV3 Winchester News at 11pm on Sundays from 2011-2012 and was promoted to anchor and producer of TV3 Winchester News at 11pm weeknights. I also served as the main fill-in anchor for TV3 News weekdays from 5-7am, as well as 6pm and 7pm.

I have covered everything from the 2016 Republican National Convention to Cleveland's first championship in 52 years, to Arkansas' deadly April 27, 2014 tornado and back and forth battle for same-sex marriage, to the annual Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival, which brings more than 250,000 people to Winchester, the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy and training of Diplomatic Security Agents at the State Department's Summit Point facility.
